About The Author

Hayfa H. Daly, Ph.D., graduated from South Paris University with a doctorate in Immunology in 2006. She worked on multiple research projects and generated scientific publications to understand immune system dysfunction in patients suffering from chronic inflammatory diseases. She then pursued cancer and inflammatory diseases research at the Institute for Medical Immunology in Belgium, the National Institute of Health and Medical Research in France, and MD Anderson. She also worked at cancer research-oriented companies in the United States.

Hayfa H. Daly has lived on three continents, Africa, Europe, and North America, and was exposed to multiple cultures and food habits. As a result, she noticed the importance of nutrition’s impact on the population’s epidemiology.
